Since being elected in 2015, our Government has continued to provide funding through various programs for organizations and groups in Hamilton and across Canada. These programs help support jobs, training, innovation, social development, promote the arts, and support healthy initiatives.
Public Accounts of Canada
The Public Accounts of Canada are the consolidated and audited financial statements of the Government of Canada. In Volume 3, Section 6, they list the names and locations of recipients who have received federal transfers of $100,000 and over, with information provided by the federal open data for Public Accounts. Date provided through the Proactive Disclosure provides data on the reporting of grants and contributions of $25,000 and over. Should you wish to easily locate updated information in the coming months, use the federal database entitled Search Government Grants and Contributions (search using the keyword ‘Hamilton’). Postal codes for businesses and organizations are provided in proactive disclosure records and can be used with Find a Member of Parliament to identify the federal riding in which they are located.
